Tue May 1- Mother Seton Art due!!

Fri. May 4- First Friday! We will go meet at the church at6pm for Adoration, followed byMass. Then we will all head out to dinner!

Sat. May 5- Get ssl hours at ReStore. Only 4 spots available. First come first served.

Sun. May 6- Final Session of Spring Cleaning. This is a youth group you don’t’ want to miss! Meet from6-8pm inParishCenter.

Fri. May 11-Lock out at St. Francis! Cost is about $30 per person.

Sat. May 12- We will meet at Mother Seton at 9:45am to leave for the nursing home to play bingo and do some crafts! Let me know if you want to attend by May 9^th!!

Sun. May 13- NO YOUTH GROUP—MOTHER’S DAY!

Sun. May 20- We will celebrate a wonderful year of Youth group with good food, great games and wonderful friends! We will also discuss promises for the Summer.

Sun. May 27-NO YOUTH GROUP-ENJOY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WITH FAMILY!!!

June 9^th-Dilexio Youth Rally! 1-8pm $10 per person! RSVP by May 20^th!!!!

Sun, June 17^th- WELCOME ALL 8^th Graders!!! You are now in High School! We will have a Luau complete with BBQ, Coconuts, grass skirts, and leis. We will play games, eat great food and go swimming!!! Please bring a MODEST swimming suite. From 3-7 pm: Location is to be announced.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Art Competition Form

It is that time of year again when we ready ourselves to experience the season of Lent. This year, our Spring retreat, now taking place at Our Lady of Mattaponi, will focus on Lent, more specifically, how Christ can bring life out of death, beauty out of ugliness, joy out of sadness and redemption out of suffering; We will focus on the rainbow that comes from the rain.

This retreat will be a time for teens to escape the pressures, worries and temptations of everyday life, to ponder the deep love God has for us and how to clear out our hearts of those things which are unnecessary and distracting and make room for the most important thing-Growing closer to God and experiencing the divine love he has for us.

The retreat will be a wonderful experience. It will involve prayer, small group sharing, Sacraments, laughter, tears, life-giving friendships, praising God and learning more about ourselves. I highly recommend coming to this retreat, even if you have already made plans. If you are anything like me, sometimes you need to, “just get away from it all,” to press the reset button on your spiritual life.

The retreat will take place from 9am on Saturday March 17th (St. Patricks Day) to 1pm on Sunday. We will meet at MSP at 9am to carpool to Our Lady of Mattapoini Retreat Center where we will stay overnight (in heated cabins with beds!). We will leave the retreat center around 11:30am and be back at MSP by 1pm on Sunday, March 18th. The cost will only be $15 each person because of all of the fundraising we have done!

We have reserved 30-35 spots this year and need at least 5 adults to chaperon. If you are interested in helping OR attending, PLEASE RESPOND TO ME ASAP! Teens After God’s ♥

Friday, Feb 3rd- FIRST FRIDAY! We will meet at the church at6pm for a holy hour of Adoration, then daily Mass, then dinner! Hope to see you there!

Sun, Feb 5- Due to typical low attendance on this night, we will NOT meet tonight because we are unable to get the TV station to watch the Super Bowl.

Wednesday, Feb 8^th-We will start a Theology of the Body course in theSt. Joseph’s Conference room from7-8:30pm. This is a 12 week course with a book fee of $10 per person (call if you need scholarship!)

Sat, Feb 11-We will meet in the MSP parking lot at9:45am to leave for the nursing home where we will paint nails, play bingo and make Valentines. We will be back by11:45am.

Sun, Feb 12- Chocolate Lover’s Festival!8am-2pm inParishCenter. Sign up to work at least 2 hours that day! Email me for sign ups. Later that evening we will talk about relationships, cliques, bullying and other attacks that get in the way of making Christ-like friendships.

Wednesday, Feb 15h-TOB Course inSt. Joseph’s room

Sun, Feb 19- We will begin at6pm SHARP in the parish center for a meeting about lent. There will be a Rally for life starting at 7 with dinner included.

Sun Feb 26- Join in celebrating Black History Month! There will be a celebrating taking place in theParishCenter from 3-7pm. Cost is free! Come for music, speakers and dinner!

Sun, Nov. 6- Rally for life at theParishCenter!!! From6:30-9pm.

Sat, Nov. 12-We will visit a local Senior Center (Sunrise in Montgomery Village) to paint the fingernails of the lady residents and/or do a craft. This opportunity will be offered every month from here on out. We will meet at MSP at 9:45am and be back by 11:45 pm. RSVP to me by Nov 11^th.

Sun, Nov. 13- DONUT SUNDAY! Help give away coffee
donuts and get the word out about youth group from 7:45am to 2pm in Parish Center. Come when you can! Later that evening, meet
in the Parish Center from 6-8pm. Get ready for a great talk and wonderful
discussion. We will start with a meal

Sun, Nov. 20- We will start with dinner then talk about the New Translations in Mass-Why are these changes happening and how to understand. Meet inParishCenter from6-8pm.

Sun, Nov. 28- No youth group because of Thanksgiving break!
