Hello Parents and Volunteers!
I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a happy new year! Youth group is starting up again on the 10th of January and I am so excited to see everyone again!
We will meet until June of 2010 and I would like to ask all of our families to consider bringing dinner on one of the following Youth Group nights. If you are unable to bring dinner for the entire group, you could sign up for just a side dish, the main dish or dessert. Below are the dates I would need for meals.

December 7, 2009
We will visit the nursing home this Sat, the 12th, and we will visit the sisters in Emmitsburg on the 20th! Two different service opportunities to get SSL hours!
We will also have a Christmas Party on the 20th! We will have food, karaoke, games and a gift exchange! Bring a $5 gift to play!
November 3, 2009
Sun, Nov. 8- Meet in the youth room in PC* from 6-8pm to discuss the movie Slumdog Millionaire and how it applies to our Catholic faith! We will start with dinner then our activity.
Sat, Nov. 14-We will visit a local nursing home to either paint the fingernails of the lady residents or play Wii with the gentlemen. This opportunity will be offered every month from here on out. We will meet at MSP at 9:30am and be back by 12:30pm. Later that day, we need help setting up for the Christmas Shoppe at MSP at 1pm. The Christmas Shoppe goes from 2-6:30pm. Please help out! Call if you are interested in either service opportunity for SSL Hours!
Sun, Nov. 15- Let’s Go Paintballing!!! Meet at MSP by 10am and bring a lunch and $25 for a gun rental, paintballs, air and field time. Bring extra money if you want to buy drinks or extra paintballs. We will be back to MSP by 3:30pm and WILL NOT meet later that night. You MUST FILL OUT AND BRING the waiver for with you in order to participate. Click HERE for waiver.
Sat, Nov. 21- Please come help with the 2nd week of the Christmas Shoppe. We will set up around 1pm and help until the end, around 6:30pm.
Sun, Nov. 22- Meet in the youth room for Board Game night! We will start with dinner then into some of your favorite games-feel free to bring your favorite game to share!

We are taking a special weekday trip to St. Patricks to attend an awesome speaker on Mixed Messages: Untagling the Myths about human sexuality! We will meet at Mother Seton 6 for a ride then return by 9pm! Parent are welcome to attend a SEPERATE with FREE WINE AND CHEESE
